Suffering from cabin fever? Feel underappreciated at home? The Northeastern Nevada Museum is always appreciative of its Volunteers!
The Museum cannot afford to hire enough help to do everything that needs to be done, but our Volunteers take up the slack!
Among the tasks the Museum always needing help with are:
Photographing and cataloging Clothing Collections
Indexing local newspapers
Scanning and cataloging old photographs
Assistance in Exhibit Maintenance
Special Projects
Even if you think you’re computer illiterate, you can help at your Museum! Training, if needed, is always provided and help is just a step away. Please don’t be shy about coming in! If you have an extra hour or two a week, or a whole afternoon, we can use you!
If you’d like to volunteer and learn what it takes to maintain your Museum, contact the Director at director@museumelko.org or call 775-738-3418 Ext. 01 |
